Loudspeaker Karaoke is another pioneer establishment just like Red Box. I enjoy going to Loudspeaker mostly because there are many locations available, and as they are known to be the ‘no frills’ karaoke provider – cheap and fun sessions are guaranteed every time!

Why I love Loudspeaker :

• Mini studios: Perhaps my favourite part of Loudspeaker is their mini studios, which are perfect for solo singers who just want to let off some steam! These booths may look small but are more than enough for your solo session. However, note that not all locations have them!
• Unlimited drinks for every session: If you don’t feel like spending much more than just your karaoke session, this is the best place as there are unlimited drinks for every session you book!

#3: CEO Neway Karaoke Box

Launched in 2004, Neway is another chain that is popular for karaoke goers like myself. With a vast selection of playlists, Neway offers patrons songs in multiple languages!

Some of their bigger rooms also offer en-suite bathrooms giving you comfortability and privacy especially if you’re partying with a larger group.

• Sing till 4 am: Neway outlets are possibly the only ones which are open till 4 in the morning letting you take your own sweet time with your karaoke sessions!

A famous chain from Japan, Karaoke Manekineko brings a japanese twist for all the karaoke lovers out there.

When you enter this outlet, be sure to be surprised as this karaoke outlet features bright lights and a cartoon looking cat that makes up most of its decor – whimsical and friendly! Not just that, their pricing is also one of the most affordable in town!

When I’m around Cheras and feel like belting out some songs with a bunch of friends, I usually head to Diva Karaoke to belt out a few of my favourite songs.

Boasting over 500,000 songs, their rooms are posh and stylish, perfect for celebrations too! They’ve also added a fun twist by naming and decorating each room to represent local artists like Andy Lau, Ziana Zain and many more!
