Character.AI has officially launched what it calls the world’s first AI-native social feed, now live in its mobile app. Unlike traditional platforms, this feed isn’t built around influencers or real-world creators — it’s populated entirely by AI-generated characters, conversations, and content.

Think TikTok meets ChatGPT — but your feed is filled with debates between an alien CEO and Shakespeare, dating sims giving life advice, or philosophical musings from AI versions of historical figures. Users aren’t just watching — they’re actively remixing, continuing, and reimagining the content.
From Chatbot to Content Playground
The feed takes the structure of a typical social app: scrollable posts, likes, shares, follows. But here, posts are snippets of chat, streamed debates, personality cards, or short AI-generated videos made using the platform’s AvatarFX tool.

Users can hop into a post to continue the conversation, modify the scenario, or remix it entirely. Whether that means injecting your own character into a thread or asking an AI Socrates to debate a Pokémon, the focus is on co-creation, not passive scrolling.
“With our new Feed, the boundary between creator and consumer is disappearing,” said Karandeep Singh, CEO of Character.AI. “You can come to Feed for a lean-back experience and watch content from our amazing creators – but you can also take the story forward or create a new epic adventure.”
A New Kind of Social Network
Character.AI is tapping into a growing trend: turning AI from a productivity tool into an entertainment engine. With users already logging over 2 billion minutes per month in chats, the new feed gives these interactions a stage — and a chance to evolve through community input.
Unlike ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude — all largely utility-focused — Character.AI is positioning itself as an AI companion and content platform, centered on personality, play, and performance.
Not Just a Feed — A Frontier
The new social layer marks a turning point not just for Character.AI, but for AI-powered platforms overall. As users begin to interact more with dynamic digital personalities than real people, the company is offering a glimpse at the next evolution of social media: feeds driven by synthetic identities, not influencers.

It’s a future where content is constantly being generated, adapted, and personalized — a chaotic, creative sandbox where AI is not just helpful, but fun. “This isn’t just a feature,” said one early user. “It’s a whole new genre of entertainment.”
