Pavilion Bukit Jalil is one of Malaysia’s largest shopping malls. It is home to many restaurants, from casual to fine dining options.
With so many options available, it can be difficult to know where to begin.
This article will introduce you to 15 of the best Pavilion Bukit Jalil food. This list is based on my personal opinion of what I have tasted.
Sushi Koi
Japanese | $$$ | Halal
If you are a sushi enthusiast or seeking an exquisite Japanese dining experience, look no further than Sushi Koi. It is one of the best Pavilion Bukit Jalil food.
What sets Sushi Koi apart from the rest is not just the tantalising dishes; it’s the entire experience. The interior decoration of the restaurant makes me feel like I’m in Japan thanks to the Japanese aesthetics decor.
The convenient ordering system is one of the standout features. I ordered food through a QR code instead of paper menus. This made my dining experience enjoyable and smooth.
I’m not familiar with Japanese cuisine. So, I decided to try one of their Chef’s Top Picks, the Ebiten Avocado Maki (fried shrimp with avocado) (RM26). The shrimp were satisfyingly crunchy, and the avocado was also delicious.
I also ordered the Dragonfruit Milkshake (RM14.90) as it is exclusive to Sushi Koi Pavilion Bukit Jalil. It was quite a unique drink, but the taste wasn’t for me.
The price is a little bit on the higher side, but it is worth it for me.

Suki-ya
Japanese | $$$ | Halal
Suki-ya is a paradise for those with a bottomless stomach like me. One of the standout features of this Pavilion Bukit Jalil food is the excellent value for money.
The unlimited variety of sauces and ingredients offered caught my attention. Dining with my friends here, we paid around RM46 each and spent roughly 2 hours eating pretty much everything offered, from fresh vegetables to sushi, noodles, chicken, beef, lamb, and fruits.
There are 4 soup bases to complement your meal. Personally, I like the Sukiyaki the most.
- Shabu-shabu: Low calorie and light profile soup for those who prefer a milder flavour.
- Sukiyaki: Meat cooked in a sweetened soy sauce broth for a delightful contrast of flavours.
- Miso Soup: Made from fermented soybeans and packed with antioxidants like vitamin E and protective fatty acids, making it both flavorful and nutritious.
- Kimuchi: Made with an authentic Kimchi base and spicy miso for those who enjoy a bit of hot and spicy.
I tried to taste pretty much everything displayed, but the meat filled me up quickly. But I still felt highly satisfied dining here.
The restaurant is confined in terms of space. This is to create an inviting atmosphere that encourages a sense of intimacy and gathering.

Madam Kwan’s
Malaysian | $$ | Halal
Another best Pavilion Bukit Jalil food is Madam Kwan’s. The food here is truly 1 Malaysian cuisine. It is not Penang, Melaka, or Malay. It is a fusion of the best from various communities.

When I entered the restaurant, I was impressed with the stunning decor and the nice ambience. Also, the waiters’ service was quick and professional.
I ordered Nasi Lemak Chicken Curry (RM 25.90) and Chocolate Milkshake (RM16.50).
The nasi lemak was delicious. The flavours were well-balanced. The milkshake was just the right amount of milkiness and sweetness.
For dessert, I ordered the famous Banana Fritters with Ice Cream (RM 18.90). It is just fried banana, but when eaten with ice cream, it is a match made in heaven. It’s the best dessert I’ve had in a while!
This restaurant is halal. However, they still serve beers but only in bottles.

Omega Pork Noodle
Chinese | $$ | Non-Halal
I always see this shop crowded. So, I can’t resist to give it a try.
I ordered the star product, which is the Omega Pork Noodle (RM16.50). You can choose to have it soup or dried. I chose the soup one.
There were various dishes compliments inside, such as minced pork patty, meat slices, liver, intestines, meatballs, eggs, crispy lard, cabbage and spring onions.
The ingredients felt fresh, and everything was great and delicious.
One tip I learned from my close friend is always to sip the soup first to warm up the stomach.
This tip also helped increase my appetite as the portion is big. If you are a small eater, you might want to share a bowl with a friend.
I also chose to add on a free-flow drink for RM7.50. There are lots you can choose from including soft drinks, coffee, orange juice and many more. All are self-service and refillable.
I had a pleasant experience dining here. I would like to try the Nanyang White Curry Mee next.

Naughty Babe Dirty Duck
European | $$$ | Non-Halal
Naughty Babe Dirty Duck is one of the best Pavilion Bukit Jalil food. They are a European fusion restaurant that focuses on pork and duck.
I came with 2 friends, and we ordered half a slab of the signature BBQ Pork Rib (RM48).
The BBQ sauce was excellent. It’s one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Also, the meat was soft, juicy and flavourful. We fought for the last piece.
I like my food a little spicy so the homemade hot chili sauce that came with the pork rib complemented my meal perfectly.
Another thing we ordered was the Porky Sausage Platter (RM88). It’s a mix of Hungarian, German pepper, Cumberland and foot-long Shublig sausage.
The price was a little too expensive for me. Probably because I’m not a sausage enthusiast and do not know the true value. Nevertheless, it was so delicious and well-cooked.
As for the environment inside the restaurant, I came when it was almost full house, so it was a little loud.
Overall, the food amazed me, and the price was perfect for the high-quality food I had.

Inside Scoop
Ice-cream | $$ | Halal
I have a big love for ice cream waffles. Before this, I had difficulty finding cafes or shops selling them.
When I first came here, I thought Inside Scoop was similar to Baskin-Robbin. I was wrong, and I also was not expecting them to sell waffles!
I was so excited I ordered the peanut butter chocolate waffle. Just after the 2nd bite, I immediately decided Inside Scoop would become my new favourite ice cream waffle shop.
The waffle had a crispy outside and a fluffy inside. Combining it with the rich and creamy ice cream, it’s a match made in heaven.
I’m also starting to love Mondays. Why? Because I can scoop away the Monday blues with a 40% discount on a single scoop every Monday. One thing to remember is that the offer is valid until 7 p.m.
Not only is the ice cream at Inside Scoop absolutely delicious, but the discount makes it even sweeter.

Christine’s Bakery
Mix | $$$ | Halal
Christine’s Bakery is a bakery cafe known for its bagels.
At first, I would like to order the Wagyu Steak Out bagel (RM41.80), but the crozza (croissant pizza) caught my attention.
So, I ordered the Wagyu Beef Crozza (RM59). In it, there was wagyu beef, cherry tomato, red capsicum, mozzarella cheese, bechamel sauce and kombu tomato concasse.
The crozza is a strange combination, but I can say it worked out. It is one of those unique Pavilion Bukit Jalil food.
It was amazing and delicious I immediately nodded after the first bite. Despite the slightly strong tomato taste, I still loved it.
I also ordered the Crunchy Biscoff Frappe (RM18). The drink lived up to its name as there were tiny crunchy biscuits in it.
Additionally, the place is beautiful and also suitable for your Instagram story’s aesthetic standards.

Oppa Toast
Korean | $$ | Halal
Next on the list of the best Pavilion Bukit Jalil food is a Korean street food, Oppa Toast. This is a hidden gem because it is only available in Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
I ate their signature toast, the Crispy Chicken Cheese (RM17.80). There was chicken, egg, cabbage, cheese, pickled cucumber and coriander in the toast.
It was satisfyingly crispy. All the ingredients were in generous portions, and the taste blended together well. The cheese was melty, and the egg was rich and fluffy too.
For drinks, I ordered a unique drink I have never found elsewhere, the Rose Latte. Basically, it is a latte but with a fruity, flowery and rosy taste.
Personally, this is not the place if you want to have lunch or dinner. A brunch and tea time is perfect because the food is not heavy. I could eat another toast to satisfy my stomach fully.

Burger & Taco
American Mexican | $$$ | Halal
Burger & Taco is one of the best Pavilion Bukit Jalil food if you want some American or Mexican food.
I ordered The B&T Original (RM16). It is made with an Australian beef patty, lettuce, tomato, Cheddar cheese, and lime aioli.
The buns were crispy and soft. The patty was juicy and tender. The cheese was also loaded.
For drinks, I ordered a chocolate milkshake. It tasted good and gave me the American diner vibes you see in cartoons or movies.
Overall, the taste was fantastic, and the price matched the quality.
However, the space is quite small and suitable for a small group. If you still want to eat Burger & Taco with your big group, I recommend you to check out other outlets.

Seniman
Malaysian | $$$ | Halal
Seniman is a restaurant that turns authentic Malay local food into a fine dining experience. It is one of the best Pavilion Bukit Jalil food in Malay cuisine.
What caught my attention was the Seniman’s Set Talam. There are 3 sets, Set Do, Set Re and Set Mi. Each set is sufficient for two persons.
They are named after the late P. Ramlee’s movie, Do Re Mi.
I came with a friend, and we shared the Talam Set Re (RM72).
The set came with nasi kukus (steamed rice) circled by Kari Kambing Jiwa Kacau (Seniman’s soul-stirring mutton curry), Ayam Masak Kicap Manis (stir-fried chicken with a sweet, slick soy sauce) and Udang Goreng Halba (deep-fried prawns with a delicious mix of herbs and spices).
The set also included traditional condiments such as sambal kelapa pudina, pajeri nanas, sambal belacan tumbuk, and acar jelatah.
I love them all, especially the Kari Kambing Jiwa Kacau. It was full of flavours. I can taste the spices, and that makes it perfect.
For drinks, we had two tiny glasses of very sweet Teh Tarik Terbalik that came with the set.
Overall, it is good value for money. I’m certainly coming back here again to try something else.

SOULed OUT
Mix | $$$ | Non-Halal
I came with 2 of my friends, and we shared the Classic Pepperoni pizza (RM19) and Bailey’s Chendol (RM18).
We also had mojitos. There was an all-day promo where we could get 3 mojitos for RM65. I ordered the Mango Lychee while they ordered Lychee and Asam Boi.
The pizza was okay. The crust was crispy, not dough-like, chewy like normal pizza.
The Bailey’s Chendol was the highlight of my visit. It was just a traditional cendol but with Bailey’s Irish Cream.
It was so delicious that we considered ordering a second bowl but didn’t because we were full.
The mojitos were fresh and refreshing.
I came around 7 p.m., and I saw many people just ordering drinks and snacks. So, this place is not much of a place to enjoy a full meal but rather a place to hang out with friends.

Hong Kong | $$$ | Non-Halal
Dai Cha Dim is the best Pavilion Bukit Jalil food in Hong Kong cuisine. It is known for its roast meats.
I ordered the Roasted Duck (RM23.80). The meat was succulent and flavourful, and the skin was crispy. It is a must-try if you come here.
To finish my meal, I ordered the Polo Bun Tea Time promo (RM10.80). The promo includes a bottled Milk Tea and is only available on weekdays from 2:30 – 5:30 PM, not including public holidays.
The Polo Bun is a thick slab of butter stuffed in a hot bun. It was delicious. It was crusty outside and fluffy inside—another must-try menu.

Arthur’s Storehouse
Mix | $$$$ | Non-Halal
Arthur’s Storehouse is a unique Pavilion Bukit Jalil food. It is the first-ever Guinness flagship outlet in Malaysia.
Most of the menu is Guinness-infused such as BBQ Hot Wings Glazed with Homemade Guinness Sauce, Guinness Battered Onion Ring, and Guinness Braised Oxtail Pork Crackling.
This was the first visit for me, I was overwhelmed with the diverse choices of food.
I asked the waiter for a recommendation, and he took the time to ask if I wanted something light or heavy and patiently explained the menu. I loved the hospitality, and I felt warm.
Since I came during the night for a light snack, I had the Guinness Battered Onion Ring (RM19) and a mug of Guinness draught beer (RM23).
Both the food and beer were amazing and fresh. Never have I ever thought using Guinness in cooking would taste this good.

Sedap by Grandmama’s is one of the best Pavilion Bukit Jalil food for traditional Malaysia cuisine.
I had the Nasi Lemak Curry Chicken (RM15.90) and the cendol (RM6.90).
The nasi lemak was tasty, especially the sambal. It’s the right amount of spiciness. The curry was delicious too.
The cendol was good. It tasted sweet and creamy, and I like the taste of the gula malacca a lot.

Lavender
Bakery | $$ | Halal
You probably know this delightful bakery by now. You can find it almost in every major shopping mall in Malaysia.
Lavender is a bakery with a variety of buns, cakes, cookies, and macarons here. It is a perfect place for tea time or light bites after shopping.
The bakery was quite busy when I arrived, so I had the Cheese Chicken Sausage Roll bun (RM4.20) and the 6-piece macaron (RM28.20) for takeaway.
The Cheese Chicken Sausage Roll is delicious for me. I like the cheese taste. The macarons are also nice. The sweetness and crunch were just the right amount.
One notable quality I noticed was how fast the cashier handled the queue. I was at the back of the line of around 5 people, but within a few minutes, I had already walked out of the store.
